The Way Back
03:57
|
|||
I'm like a stain. Faded over time.
I'm tied in, and tried on.
If you don't let it go in time it might itch
To be gone, I guess I always get what I want and never want what I've got.
I guess I always get what I want and never want what I've got.
Can you take what I have?
Tied into. Tried on and dragged your feet along
So I got us here on my own.
Died inches right after, I thought I heard in laughter:
" Take me all the way back home, All the way back home"
If carded inside, here.
And you don't rebelieve. So brought it in, I'd fear.
Could it be, my love, that I want everything that you've got.
I guess I'm always getting what I want, I never want what I've got
Can you take what I have?
Tied into, Tried on and dragged your feet along
So I got us here on my own.
Died inches Right after I thought I heard in laughter
"Take me all the way back home, all the way back home"

He set us down as the coat caught his hand in the cool.
And the cold crept into my life; The muffled gate of a cold-hearted man:
Cascade through the door.
And it echoed through my life, echoed it on and on.
Push down push down push bullet to ground.
Said " Oh my God, this city's falling down... Its falling down"
Push out. Put stout foot forward and down.
Said " Oh my God, This city's calling out... Its calling out"
Discarded cane to the cold spotted hands.
He sang through to the chorus that had echoed for miles.
The solid gaze to the cold hearted men pressed through to the core.
And it echoed through my life, Echoes on and on.
Push down push down push bullet to ground.
Said " Oh my God, this city's falling down... Its falling down"
Push out. Put stout foot forward and down.
Said " Oh my God, This city's calling out... Its calling out"
Push down.
Never known, yet never not the negative: I never feel it happening, pushed out to the broken crowd I'm in.
Never known, never not a negative. And When I feel it happening, I'll push out (from the broken crowd I'm in) my soul.

The Climb
03:52
|
|||
Climbing to the top of the silent oak
Couldn't make it stop if the silent spoke
A misplaced foot say ohh!
Climbing to the top of the silent oak
Misplaced footing when the silent choke
I wouldn't make it stop say ohhh!
With solid hands, keep writing home, Dear
As silent eyes keep shining on,
Fear not
Climbing to the top of teh silent oak
Couldn't make it stop as the silent choke
A misplaced foot say oh
And climbing to the top of that silent oak
A misplaced foot let the silent choke
I wouldn't make it stop till the silent soak
With solid hands keep writing home, Dear
As silent eyes keep shining on, Dear
We're strapped to the bottom
So I'll slip beneath the trees
My friends wait single file next to me
With solid worms and Shining eyes, I'll be writing home...
Till one by one, a silent home, Dear.

Spinning On Fire
03:52
|
|||
Through all the shit that's on, the hit sits on your brain
And you are stacked with bills: behold, your game
So you've got to run and you've got to hide, lock yourself in for a while. In that's a song you made.
I get the feeling when I set you off, Like I'm on fire, I've been burning for so long
Last year we started in this room and the cold house departed heart from home.
This year the shit that haunts this room is a sold house, and the calm to come.
I get the feeling when I set you off, Like I'm on fire, I've been burning for so long.
I'm burning, spinning on fire.

I Put Some Whiskey In It
03:09
|
|||
You said you like my move and the way I do
The solitary line I fit right into
" So Baby Just Take ME"
I'll write you off
These chumps are standing arms folded across their chests
I couldn't give a fuck, even at my best
The glass that just drank me
Is standing full?
I put some whiskey in it
Your cola baby?
I put some whiskey in it
My sugar baby?
I put some whiskey in her
"This your pineapple juice?
I put some whiskey in it."
If you give it to me, I put whiskey in it
Moon is above my back
Singing to the top of the middle of my hat
It says come on to bed!
Maybe I'll put some whiskey in it.
Your cola baby?
I put some whiskey in it
My sugar baby?
I put some whiskey in her
"This your pineapple juice?
I put some whiskey in it."
If you give it to me, I put whiskey in it
Whiskey in the morning, in the day or night
Whiskey makes your poor body feel alright :)

Ride
04:03
|
|||
Bouncing all my time off the same old shit I've been living for
For once I'm known, but the same old shit I've been living.
For once I'm grown by the same old shit I've been living for
For once I'm called by the same...
We just wanted to ride with our friends
We raced to the top yet I want to come home.
We cried with our friends, I'm calling it off now.
Pouncing on my turn.
When we live like one we divide it by one.
I'm told that you live life best if you can give it
So once I'm old, am I sanct?
or just one divided by what I'm sold?
If my aim was pure I just wanted to
Ride with our friends
We raced to the top yet I want to come home.
We cried with our friends, I'm calling it off now.
We race to fall.
They call " We don't fall down"
We all fall. We all fall down.
we all fall down.

Vines, Baby!
04:38
|
|||
control yourself up to another one
let go of yourself. Step off the back.
cold, you're not just like the other ones.
Let go by yourself. Step off my back, baby.
If I can stand where you are from here then I can feel where you are, baby.
Take this place out from inside of you
You told yourself not what was true. I know, you'll never know whats true.
If I can stand where you are from here then I can feel where you are, baby.
Some times I want to wish all away.
And wish this life was easier
some times I want to wish all a way
and wish this life was easier
so should you find out that you were not that far from home, I saw it coming.
And should you find out it was all ok. I'd wish this life was easy.
You lift this planet up for another one.
You dig this plant safe off my back
You're old, You'll never know what's true.
If I can feel where you are from here then I can stand where you are.
Baby, We got it once. It was all too far from here.
Baby, we got it once, was all too far from here
We got it once, was tucked inside but all too far from here
God at once was tacked in the side but all too far. I'm gone. I've lost it.
What if this life was easier?

The Way Out
04:38
|
|||
She'll find a way out.
Coming on!
She'll find a way out
Coming on!
I couldn't call it in the air. It was the wind, or sun.
I move across the edge to find where the spread has gone.
I chalk it up to my old self telling my Jude my love.
Hands selling as I spill it all.
The crude and the crass to the kind, imparted.
They are my own, all my own.
Stop selling me time, ( Uncertain that I learn unless I burn it all)
and chalk it up to my old self telling my Jude "My love expresses forever to yours."
She'll find the way out.
Coming on!
She'll find the way out.
Coming on!
A crash of water through the air, so I toned it down.
I guess I couldn't bird and toss the burden to the air till now. . .
I chalk it up to my old self telling my Jude my love.
Hands selling as I spill it all.
The crude and the crass to the kind, imparted.
They are my own.
Stop selling me time and chalk it up to my old self telling my Jude "My love expresses forever to yours."
Stop selling me time.
I couldn't come across the edge until I let it burn
I chalk it up to my old self telling my Jude my love.
Hands selling as I spill it all.
The crude and the crass to the kind, imparted.
They are my own, all my own.
Stop selling me time, ( Uncertain that I learn unless I burn it all)
and chalk it up to my old self telling my Jude "My love expresses forever to yours."

As It Sets
03:33
|
|||
Sail from the top to the bottom of my heart.
Tonight have we stood our fathers' grounds just to feel our fathers' grounds fall beneath my weary feet?
... Sail...
We believe you can reach out and touch your stars tonight.
I promise you, you can reach out and touch the light; We know, we believe.
Who's caught the sun but got there not knowing?
Only the blistered and burned have touched the light.

NTNT Portland, Oregon
NTNT started out as the brainchild of Dustin Brown (Lead Vocals, Guitarist, Percussion). As Brown quickly developed the
desire to perform the songs live, he sought different musicians (5 different lineups to be exact), before meeting Ryan Berry (Drums, Samples).
NTNT contrasts color and energy to the sound they have created in which the listener can either cry or dance to the various songs.
